Moderately hilly ride to Caumsett Park via Huntington Bay
20 mile relatively flat ride to Commack, with a stop at East Northport Cafe, then looping to Huntington Station and returning to Smith St. A few rolling hills.
This 20 mile B ride is slightly hilly. We will travel at 14-15mph on the flats. Slower up hills and faster down hills.

RIDE DESCRIPTION / PHOTO: Flat 20 mile ride from SUNY Farmingdale to Belmont Lake, stopping either for bagels at Railroad Bagel Express and/or for amazing donuts at Doughology in Babylon. Continuing on to Argyle Lake and back to SUNY.

The Bloomin‘ Metric® is a bike tour event for every type of rider from the novice to advanced cyclist. We offer four routes that travel along stunning beaches and through the classic New England countryside of Connecticut. The Bloomin‘ has such a rich history and it‘s that story that makes the Sound Cyclists Bicycle Club so successful to this day.

The Ride for Mental Health is one of the first rides in the country to benefit mental health. The proceeds raised will be donated to McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliate, for the education, research and treatment of mental illness including anxiety, borderline personality disorder, depression, eating disorders and substance abuse.
