The cost for the Lewisburg Spring Bike Weekend is an all-inclusive package price - the hotel cost is included in this fare. (Incidentals are not included, e.g., the cost of booking a therapeutic massage at the hotel.)
The Lewisburg area in the Susquehanna Valley of central PA is lovely for cycling - green and peaceful, with a variety of terrains. In addition to a wide range of distances for road rides, the Buffalo Valley Rail Trail is also nearby. For cyclists traveling with non-cyclist companions, there are ample attractions and activities in the Lewisburg area, which do not require a bike.
Our guests will include tandem teams, and there are plenty of tandem-friendly routes in the Lewisburg area.
Our hotel, the Best Western Plus of Lewisburg, is very attractive and spacious, with plenty of amenities geared (pardon the pun) for our group of cyclists. The hotel has a heated, indoor pool - ideal for those of us who need to treat tire, sore, or achey muscles and joints, either before or after our tides.
We would LOVE your company at this fun event, if you are free on May 17-19. All cyclists are warmly welcome to join us, regardless of club member status (or, no club affiliation at all). This event will NOT conflict with any other major cycling weekend events in the Mid-Atlantic on the same dates. This event will be supported with Ride Leaders, SAG Drivers, mechanical assistance, etc.
We wll hae several other guests joining us from Long Island. From this area of NY, Lewisburg, PA is a sraight shot across I-80 West.
